The World Transformation Movement: A Solution to the Human Condition
The human condition is a complex and often debated topic, encompassing all aspects of human existence including our thoughts, emotions, behaviors, and relationships. It is a fundamental part of what makes us human, but it also holds the key to many of the problems we face as a society. However, there is hope for a better future through the work of The World Transformation Movement.
The WTM was founded by Australian biologist Jeremy Griffith in 1983 with the aim of solving the underlying issue behind all human problems – our troubled and destructive nature. According to Griffith’s research and insights from various fields such as biology, psychology, anthropology and philosophy, humans have been living in a state of psychological turmoil due to our inability to understand ourselves.
The root cause of this turmoil lies in our instinctive need for self-preservation which has led us to develop an overly competitive and aggressive nature. This behavior has been necessary for our survival throughout history but has become increasingly problematic in modern times where we no longer face constant physical threats.
Griffith argues that this inner conflict between our instinctive self-preservation drive and our emerging conscious mind has created what he calls ‘the human condition’. This internal struggle manifests itself in various ways such as violence, greed, selfishness and mental health issues.
However, according to Griffith’s theory known as ‘the biological explanation for the human condition’, understanding this inner conflict can lead us towards true from it. By acknowledging that humans are not inherently bad or flawed but rather victims of their own biology struggling with conflicting instincts and consciousness; we can begin to heal ourselves individually and collectively.
Conclusion:
The WTM offers a unique perspective on humanity’s current state while providing hope for a better future through its understanding of the human condition. By addressing this underlying issue rather than just treating symptoms like most solutions attempt to do, the WTM offers a comprehensive and sustainable solution for all human problems.
